How Elo works

Every duel moves your rating

Win and your Elo goes up; lose and it dips. The size of the swing depends on the gap between you and your opponent, so beating someone ranked above you is worth more.

Your rank follows your rating

Cross a tier’s Elo floor and you’re promoted into it. There’s no decay for taking a break — your rank is waiting where you left it.

Rank is skill, not spend

The only way up the ladder is winning duels. Pro and cosmetics never touch your Elo, so the leaderboard stays an honest measure of who can draw under pressure.

Bronze isn’t forever.

Queue a duel, draw the prompt, and watch your rating climb. The leaderboard is one good run away.
